The Great Stirling 5k is a brand new event that takes place on Sunday 21 May 2017 and is suitable for adults and children aged 14 years old and over. The course will take runners of all abilities on a loop around the city of Stirling before finishing in City Park in front of the stunning backdrop of Stirling Castle. The start and finish areas are within walking distance of the city, with plenty of car parking options nearby. All finishers will receive a goodie-filled finisher’s pack, an exclusive event t-shirt and that all-important medal. Why not stick around after you finish at our own Stirling District Citizens Advice Bureau marquee and cheer on the marathon runners who will be making their way to the end of their 26.2 mile journey. Entries are limited to a maximum of 500, so make sure you secure your place today, get one of our charity places! You don’t need to be Mo Farrah, you can jog or walk it! Be at the starting line with me at 10am on the 21st May.
If you would like to support our charity fight poverty, injustice and housing issues for people when they are in need please join our group of runners/joggers/walkers like Emilia, Poppy and Svenja on the day of the Stirling Marathon on the 21st May 2017.
